Things that irritate you.....

People who can't keep to their own seat on a plane. Sat next to a guy who insisted with sitting with his legs wide open and his elbows on my side... for 8 hours from Dubai. My flight up via NY was way better - three families with little babies all around me and no working entertainment system and I came out of that in way better condition thanks to sleep. I can handle the kids if the parents themselves aren't 'problem children'... but these people who insist in having their body in your seat... no manners.

Just fly first class man

1 ply toilet paper at work, you use so much of it. Back in my cheap days, when I first moved out to make it in this big bad world I used to buy 1ply, it was cheap. Until one day PnP had a special on 2ply and it worked out maybe a few rands more, since then I'm a convert and also realised that I am actually buying less toilet paper with 2ply, even though it's a bit more you end up saving more. So why the bloody hell can't companies, then again I am moaning about a company who switched us all to instant coffee for the last two years, at least we still have a choice of Ricoffy and Nescafe. I do sometimes miss IS.

That's the main reason I don't use public transport in peak hours. I find a lot of people have absolutely no concept of personal space and it makes my journey most unpleasant.
Gautrain Bus Off-peak FTW.

You're right about the economic edge of 2-ply over 1-ply. the latter is certainly a false economy for most of us.

I don't quite find that level of advantage in 3-ply over 2-ply, though, and tend to believe it's for people who like to think of themselves as living in luxury.

When people just assume ****. Pisses me the **** off. And when my pensioner mom must support family who think it's leka to give up their jobs and then lean on a 70 year old for assistance. Really trying to restrain myself but that *** is getting on my nerves.

Here we go again...

Classic. Reminds me of the day I sold my Corsa. I listed it at R95k and was made offers of R60k saying that I won't get anything better. Sold it a couple of hours later for R94k cash... The nerve of some people

You know, I wouldn't mind it if someone had said to me "considering the scratches on the back or the fact that I don't have the original box what is your best price" or something along those lines. Everyone is out to get the best price they can but R200 is really just taking a chance. Cash Crudsavers will surely offer me more than that anyway :crylaugh:

No they wont surprisingly.

Being sick for two weeks. Taking antibiotics for 5 days - getting better only to get worse two days after the pills are finished. Sick now for another 4 days - going to get more antibiotics. *sigh
No voice during this time either. And not been able to stay in bed - life continues as usual.

Reply with R750 (adding the R200 to the asking price). See what they do.

Evil! I like it

@Tribble The flu is horrible this year - it caught me too and I am usually someone that doesn't fall ill. Stay warm and in bed and keep your fluid intake up - that's all that seemed to help with me. And antibiotics of course, along with some Sinumax for the pain.

Good luck!

Been a very resilient strain this year. Most people I know who got it had to take 2 rounds of antibiotics.

I only took 1 round of Penicillin, but was sick as a dog again 3 days after going back to work.

We've failed to manage our antibiotic arsenal well, people. Now we're going to pay.

It seems so - hear the same from many people. I also don't usually get sick. But bed rest isn't going to happen - I cannot do that. But will try and stay warm :) Thanks.

I hate taking pills but have no choice - appointment booked for this afternoon. Hopefully will start to feel better tomorrow.

For once it seems the flu shot I got actually worked. Guess the virus did not mutate that much since last year.

Weird. It irritates me no end when people put not negotiable on used items.

It irritates me when they assume it's negotiable.

If they think they can get it cheaper elsewhere, they should go get it there - then again, if they could, they would not have contacted me in the first place.
