Things to do when your cap runs out

I remember playing the majority of those games. I still have some of them on floppies and stiffies somewhere, only problem is I don't have drives to read it

and telkom thanks you for all your hard work and they will be making sure that these web sites will be blocked in the not so near future.......

They can't... not unless they want to block the feed to the Akamai Servers. These websites are available on local cos the Akamai Servers which host them are located within Telkom's delineation of what is local. In other words these Akamai servers are probably in Africa somewhere. If Telkom cuts the feed to these they also cut a lot of normal business stuff. So they are stuck with them! :D

have a look-see at this one:
www.spike.com
check your inet temp. folder when the videos have ended.
copy and open with media payer classic.
convert to mpeg etc with SUPER - works like a dream - and contains formats for IPOD etc etc

oh yeah, while going through some of the links in the news threads here and it seems you can go to http://www.zastore.co.za/ and http://www.leaf.co.za/ as well.
Also, could anyone check for me and find out if it's possible to go on all the sites on the viacom (http://www.viacom.com/) networks, as it seems I can get on at least some of them. However, this may be similar to the Akamai customer list, as on some sites you can go to, while on others you can't...

Amazingly, after looking around a bit, I found out the you can use the Windows live/msn search. As it's one of the main search engines, I'd think someone else might've found out about it earlier. You can't acces any of the other features, but I'm still amazed you can get onto http://www.live.com

Nice! I like the progress. Can anyone possibly encourage local servers to give us full lists of the sites the host? This would be the mother of all treasures I think.

Edit: I've now started messing around, at it seems you can even watch videos you've searched for on it(without going to another site thats not on local). I've only messed around with it for a bit, and it seems you can only watch it in small sizes and not for long, but it seems to be very cool and I think it has quite a bit of potential...

Nice find, thanks for sharing

Also will check for more sites :)

If my webhosts just 'hands' out my site to some stranger, cause I'm hosted on their server(s)....

Privacy Policy FTW!

Well, most sites actually want more visitors...

And I tried searching for some vids and watching them but it wasn't a really brilliant experience. You could only watch clips of a few seconds from the vid and you could only watch it in the small size it shows up with when you search. But I suppose it still beats the rest of the stuff so do on local, and you can choose what to watch...
