This is Openweb for you!

The only way OpenWeb will feel is to leave them, the thing is, many of it's clients are users who don't know any better.

Leon and Zelda are MASTER BS'ers!!! You have no idea.
I'm so happy that this is my last month with them.
I'm sick and tired of their ***.
Never again.

Gdiza is that you...? :D You finally came around...! Well done

@ OP: Remember to email your cancellation to their email specifically for cancellations otherwise they will refuse the cancellation. As for Athol, yeah in his mind he is the Openweb enforcer.

so Athol thinks he owns Open Web?

This says he's just a
Chief Technical Engineer
and since they're just an ISP-in-a-box IS reseller... what exactly does he do? manage their wordpress site?

In all likelihood he does together with dr*beep*.

Remember Openweb is a unregistered business.

Keoma(Mrcrook) is a radio dj with a side job trying to run a ISP-in-a-Box

He is part owner AFAIK. That title is probably there to make the unsuspecting think they're proper.

Ofcourse Not! They run it from home and outsource their support agents from India :)

Maybe that is why they didn't understand that word and sent it to him for explanation.

Mr Athol gracious boss, please show me vot dis vord means here *wiggles head*?

Agree, can’t wait to leave.
Will just pay more for better. (Either Axxess or Vox Fat Pipe)

Even when googling now I see some more articles of childish replies from Openweb CEO’s to customers.
Do they run this company out of a garage?

Just go Telkom, then after month one cancel and they will offer you 25% discount to stay.
I'm in year 2 of my 25% discount.

6 days people! 6 days.
No more OpenWeb for me.
OpenWeb have 29000 followers on their Facebook page...
550 on Twitter

I really think we should be telling the 29000 likes on Facebook exactly what OpenWeb is all about.

Highly doubt those "likes" on facebook are legitimate...

EDIT: Afrihost has just under 21 000 likes. Strange then, that they'd have less social media impact than OpenJoke, and have won ISP of the year for the last couple of years running... It's also pretty obvious that the rare positive hellopeter.com OpenJoke reviews read suspiciously like they've been written by the same hand.

Would Dr Wright and the athole, Athol, be the type of people who would pay for Facebook likes, and write their own hellopeter reviews? My vote is, "Yes."

I wanted to reply "I'm a chopper pilot" but thought let me keep it professional...lol

Are you? Whereabouts do you fly and do you fly on commission? If so, what's your rate, for interest's sake?
Want to build a contact list of heli pilots for aerial shoots I may do in future.

As for treatment from OpenWeb - didn't know their ownership had changed hands, but not overly surprised to see the customer treatment has remained unchanged. Guess that even if you re-dress an Athol, it'll always remain an Athol.

Had fantastic connectivity and customer service from them for something around 7 years, then major issues I proved with numerous means were associated with their accounts and/or datacenter(s) yet got told their services aren't the issue because 'they tested the account and it was fine'.

Eventually got the proverbial finger from Mr. Keolways Wright and was essentially told I can either accept there's nothing wrong with their product or just leave.

So we left. With a month and a half's required notice for some reason, which we sure as hell didn't stick out as we got access to our Mweb account instead at the beginning of the 'second' month'.

Won't surprise me if its one in the same person keoma = Athol
