About this 10 day rolling threshold thing, there is something I don't understand.
According to the Axxess website, if you buy the 384 account, then you are throttled during the day to 192kb/s. This restriction only applies during 8am to 8pm, after that and during weekends you get 4mb/s.
So what exactly is the purpose of this 5gb rolling threshold? From what I understand, if you go over this threshold, your speed will be limited but not disconnected, but you are limited anyway during the day to 192kb/s?
Will they limit your speed lower than 192kb/s during the day with this threshold?
Ah I see now, you start on 384kb/s, then when you go over the threshold, you go down to 192kb/s right?[/quote
Thats right, if you don't go over your 5G rolling threshold then you get full speed during the day as well - no throttled speed ie. 384KB/s . After 8pm you get the full speed taking over "
You will still have the FULL line speed after 8pm on weekdays and the weekend. This means that if you have a 4Mb/s line, you will get 4Mb/s speed, even if you only have a 384Kbps account! "
Hope this puts more light on the subject
