Yes, you will.

Telkom is not going to check the subscription status of these services before allowing you to buy it at the cash price.

The services are available for you to use, or not. It is your decision, just like you can also buy a DStv decoder to use as a doorstop, if you are so inclined.

You do know that you get apps which can hide root bud, both of both worlds.

Only things they could have improved was space, ram and gigabit ethernet port, but 100mb/s i guess is suffice for your non tech savy users.

Looks like because it has Widevine, you will get HD but not 4K. Probably no 5.1 either.

This is a game changer for the masses peeved at the repeating kids' stuff on Monochoice @ R700 - R900 pm.
Most kiddums live on the Youtube channels, so this is a damn interesting development for the masses who are non-technical.

Device has widevine level one so 1080p Netflix will work. I have similar box

I have Netflix I just think for other people having an HD Netflix box is great, I'm actually interested in how it handles Plex, specifically 10 bit x265 and surround sound formats.

Use archos player to access your Plex server. You will have no issues even over WiFi. Archos also does the artwork information thing

I'm currently using my smart TV to access Plex, it does x265 perfectly without transcoding but can't direct play 10 bit x265.

New s905x devices support 10bithevc. Its my favourite format. Small but clear.. Lol

I was perfectly happy but now in the last month or so they have started to release the 1080P versions with 10 bit encoding.
