This is the Telkom LIT Android media box

The point here is that the streaming on the data will be free and is the selling point of this device. I don't like Telkom @ all, but this is a nice move from them.

Considering this is Telkom, I am suitably impressed. They really just need to improve their customer service. Their products are really not bad.

they just pop up out of nowhere, but terrarium tv is the best app .

I don't see the big deal about Terrarium. As far as I'm concerned it's rubbish. I loaded it on my nvidia shield, the scrolling with remote didn't work properly, stupid video ads all over the place and best of all, I didn't get Full HD. I'll stick to Kodi. Hasn't failed me once, especially with Real-Debrid.

Edit: And yes I tried donating to have ads removed, and guess what, it wouldn't let me donate.

It has every series and movies available in many resolutions since it pulls all the links from the web.

I think there's an Android TV interface you can enable.

Hmmm, some articles say Android, others say Android TV...

Head of Africa said:
"Mahir Sahin, Head of Africa, Android Platform Partnerships at Google said,”We are very thrilled to see Telkom launching the first Android TV certified set-top box in South Africa with our popular services like YouTube & Google Play built-in. Google Play will bring the world of content, apps and games to Telkom subscribers’ living room"

Taken from the comments section to the article, credit to Zouz for pointing this out.

Edit2: Found a video showcasing a short demo of it and the mobile remote control , from all places, SABCNews lol. Watch here. Looks to be AndroidTV?
