I wonder if I can add the R49/m to my existing uncapped lte account?

Tried.. They couldnt attach to my lte contract.. But they can add to a normal post paid telkom residential account..

If you are on an Uncapped account you should have been auto-upgraded and this should have been free.

Please elaborate on this autoupgrade.. I went to telkom to upgrade my contract but they say they no longer selling the R599 uncapped LTE contract and will have to upgrade to the R799 option..

I didnt bother asking more questions.. Will let it run R599 month to month .. Until telkom calls me to upgrade at the same price

I’m referring to DSL not LTE.

So that’s probably the issue.

Sumen... Thank you very much. Just read that it's available on the Home uncapped/unlimited package... Which (in my eyes) makes the service a little silly on that package.
You might as well just choose an uncapped account from an ISP of your choice ...x.

Remember, uncapped is throttled by fup, therefore the drive for a bolt-on package for streaming.

Even the LIT stemming service has a cap that is not talked about too loudly

So I managed to get a LIT Device from Centurion Mall store, free on my Uncapped 10meg Fiber account. Will try it out tonight.
How do you disable the LIT service so that you can chose the resolution?

They are going to change your month-to-month to contract or you can take the device only on 24 contract / cash.

So this is my first month on the 10Meg Fiber, so the just converted to contract.

They added it to my existing Telkom account - paying R40.60 x 24 months = R974.40. Not sure why it's so cheap? Even with VAT added at 14% (which I don't think is the case) it would still be cheaper than expected. I just hope there is no shock on my bill next month!!

Still strange it's called TVB-100 and not TVC-100.

Also, is the air-mouse really working on Android TV ? And there is no "menu" button on Android TV, don't know what this button does in use.

Be careful with ES File Explorer, I saw some people with a constant "bubble" (ad) on their TV screen, it can be disabled in the settings.
There are also other file app on the Play Store.

My understanding is they don't say in the press release what device the voice search is on. I think it would be less confusing had they added the words 'via app' though
