Platinum has also had massive advertising drives in recent times. I don't earn even close to their qualifying criteria, but they still want to rub it off on me.FNB going balls to wall with PC advertising. This will ensure the bankers have massive portfolios to look after and the service levels will suffer as was the case with premier.

Where are they doing this PC advertising?
Guys, I filled petrol at the Engen (Oxford service station, opposite Rosebank Mall) today for +-R600. Then I went to mini woolworths/engen shop thing for some stuff for around R70.
I noticed on both SMS's from FNB it says "reserved R<insert money here> @ Oxford service station".
So how do they differentiate whether you got petrol or food?
I've kept slips anyways.
Do both slips have the same merchant id on them?Guys, I filled petrol at the Engen (Oxford service station, opposite Rosebank Mall) today for +-R600. Then I went to mini woolworths/engen shop thing for some stuff for around R70.

No they do not.
Would this be how they differentiate transactions then? Or do they have access to information on what you purchased per transaction?
Does anyone know ... if you buy on bid or buy, and use their system for payment via CC ... is that seen as onlineshopping ?

I'm sure this has been asked and answered before, but am I right in thinking you can buy Makro/Hi-Fi Corp/etc vouchers with your eBucks and then earn eBucks again when you spend said vouchers + use your CC to pay for your purchase?
You will earn eBucks on the payment made with the gift card and with the CC. So yes, earning eBucks on your eBucks... boggles the mind hey?I'm sure this has been asked and answered before, but am I right in thinking you can buy Makro/Hi-Fi Corp/etc vouchers with your eBucks and then earn eBucks again when you spend said vouchers + use your CC to pay for your purchase?
So i might have misplaced a makro gift card with about R1600 loaded on to it. Can these things be cancelled and reissued provided some kind of proof of ownership?
