Would the cash@till prevent one from earning the 4000 points for using only the credit card (on gold), since you can only use cash@till with your cheque card?

Yes that is correct ,just leave your cheque card at home lol

That's why I have an easy account that I use to withdraw cash from.

I confirmed that ... cash@tills isn't seen as spending. If you only use your cheque card for cash@tills in the month and use your CC else where, you will get 4000eb

Can anyone clarify this:

NEW! Earn up to 40% back in eBucks on your qualifying FNB Connect contract or when loading FNB Connect prepaid airtime.

So if I take a contract via FNB connect I could get upto 40% off it?

They might have said that but it makes no sense and I suspect they are wrong. As we've seen before, eBucks rules are notoriously ambiguous and FNB's own staff are often clueless about the finer points of their own rules.

Based on what Sinbad and the eskimo said, I think that eBucks won't be penalising us for withdrawing funds from a Flexi Option access bond as there is no "manual" intervention required to make such a withdrawal. Anyway, that's my view ;)

I would be very puzzled if your assumption is incorrect in terms of the flexi option.
The bank earns interest on your total capital balance outstanding - it actually benefits them that you have as little extra cash in your home loan as possible.

yes but some pick and pays do not allow you to get cash without buying something. I have tried getting cash without buying something ,was not possible kept on failing.

Rather not risk it.

The Global Account rules on Platinum are very strange. 1500 in AD @ 14300 against 1500 PS @ 28125 big difference.

Decisions Decisions. Put another 8K into a PS account, or close it, open a AD account and free up 6K

Well, if they say no, I take a lunchbar, pay that with my CC, and then withdraw money with my debit card.

Quick question on bank statements.

How do I get a bank statement from FNB for a Visa application (ie travel visa) without affecting my eBucks earn?

Print out a 3 month bank statement on your own, take it to a branch to get it stamped.

Your eBucks points are only affected for branch transactions, so if you get them to print it out for you (instead of printing it yourself), they will charge you for it and it will therefore count as a transaction...

When moving from one tier where you were awarded points for a specific criteria to another, e.g Gold to Platinum, how do they award points:

- Do not exceed your limit or go into arrears on your FNB Platinum Credit Card for
- Your FNB Platinum Cheque or Credit Card Account has been open and active* for three years or more
- etc
