I'll have a scratch there.

I've used it at three different Checkers. Never a problem and I always draw a grand at a time.

The amount is the only problem ever as they don't provide it from the till and have to request it.

Are you sure interest is not charged as it says in the card faq

If you use cash@till on your CC, you pay interest on it from day 1. Its exactly the same as when you use your CC in an ATM. Not the smartest thing to do if you concerned about not wasting a single penny.

I have also never been able to draw Cash@till using my credit card. Only the cheque card has ever been accepted for me.

First implementation of the sort I saw was in the UK, it was called CashBack. Debit card only.
Some chick was so dof she thought it was some kind of rewards thing, and was asking for the max cashback each time she used her card. Then got upset when her account was empty :D

I've used my CC before. Paid for something and needed parking money so withdrew R10 from my CC as well.

It seems as if we found the reason for your mystery interest charges SauRoNZA? ;)

Possible. The charge just seems very low as I draw about 2k a month and the interest is always just a couple of rands.

Either way still cheaper than an ATM so will just soldier on.

Will take a proper look at statements later.

Interest on R2k at 15% = R300 per annum = R25-odd per month? And less than that if it's done in the middle of the month

It was way less than R20 from what I remember. But yes it's drawn at odd times with Checkers shopping.

Let me go check quick.

Minimum R10 / Maximum R14. I said 2k as a maximum as well so it's probably that.

We are scaling it down from now on and getting more card intensive. Largely it's to pay the maid and we always draw a little extra. I'm trying to cut out that extra.

Would pay directly into her account but she always wants a bit in cash for travel so I just give it all rather.

Yes. I've done it so I know it works.

Well, I asked it a few times at pick and pay and they refused. And to answer your question, I am at FNB aswell.

But why will you withdraw cash and pay fees for it (using your credit card), if you can use your debit card and withdraw cash for free

Hi ebucks gurus

I seem to be missing out in this

Maintain a monthly balance of at least R10 000 or more in your FNB Platinum Cheque Account

Can someone explain if this balance must be there for a whole month...ie 6 August to 6 September... or specifically on the day that they do the calculations for ebucks allocation.

Without all the loans and overdraft and investing options I'm loosing out on level 5. I'm falling short by 2000 points and having this balance in the cheque account can give me the 2000 points I need.

Thanks for the assistance

If you drop below 10k once during the month, cheers points.

Simple really. I never use my Debit Card. I was paying for things I bought and needed cash for the parking to get out so just withdrew it on the same transaction.

I don't do it a lot.

I also don't have cash on me about 90% of the time.

This was at Checkers by the way

Ok nowhere in the list of what I can still do to earn more points does it say maintain a R75k balance :wtf: That's just insane :D and its a yes on both questions... cash@tills and all purchases on CC.

Thanks for the answers... I'll maintain the 10k balance see what the next round holds.
