If the guy has a Credit Card machine, and you have that available, that's your answer.

Some of the newer FNB ATMs will ask you from which account to draw from when trying to draw cash with your CC.

But then you lose RL points which is what everyone here is trying to avoid...

Remember there is a fee charge if you use VISA, if you don't have the option for endless transactions with only one fee

Same here. He allowed me to pay R5000 deposit without a problem...just not the large amount

As far as I understand. The merchant agreement prohibits the merchant from increasing the price of an item if a credit card is used as a form of payment. Not sure if they can outright refuse to accept card though.

And my calculation assumed zero spend on other things, so in reality maybe R700 at most is to be gained. Would probably cost the car dealer 4 - 5k though in card fees.

Don't know about premier but in PC you will earn at0.6% after R25000 unlimited
