I'm considering upgrading to Premier because I'm knocking my head on the Gold limits (especially the online one). I can get 17500 points according to Premier rules, but I obviously don't want to leave Gold RL 5 for Premier RL4. Which is why I would like to know how they interpret this rule:
My FNB Gold account has been open for almost 4 years, but if I were to upgrade, then would my FNB Premier account be considered "new" in terms of this rule, and I therefore would not get the points? I'm also not too jazzed about the fact that I'm cutting it so close to the buffer
Your FNB Premier Cheque or Credit Card Account has been open and active* for three years or more
