So my exchange is basically farked and there are no plans to do anything about it in the next 6 months apparently.

I've looked at a couple of options and it seems that TM has the best offering on 50GB LTE currently.

Doesn't anyone know if it is possible to just get the Data + Sim without signing up a 24 month contract? I'll go an buy the router from them, just don't wanted to be stuck for the next 2 years.

Some of the sim-only deals are month-to-month contracts, but not sure about the 50GB one.

Desperate.

ADSL is unusable for most of the day
No LOS for Bitco
Stuck in the middle of 2 areas that are getting fibre
No VDSL

So hoping that there is a way to get 50GB without being stuck for the next 2 years.

You can buy 50GB of prepaid data for R1800.
You have 12 months to use it.

It is contract only. I'm a HomeOffice LTE 100GB user and loving it. Completely in line with fibre prices and a great option. I've been off ADSL and Telkom copper for over 2 years now - no regrets.
