damn, every time I see a cool app it needs root... How does rooting affect software/firmware updates from manufacturers?
I have an optimus black btw.
Downloaded PowerAMP Music Player last night.
Was looking for a music player. It's a 15 trial so I will play around with it until then. Any others recommended - paid or free?
(I did have a look at the one Elimentals recommended although haven't tried it yet, i.e. 3 Cube (Mp3 Player).)

I dont know if anyone else Develop on their phones or if you have a reason to "remote desktop" your android phone from your PC but here is a great app to look at

Also check out https://market.android.com/details?id=net.xdevelop.rm that gives you a desktop in your browser that resembles a PC UI.
Is anyone using JuiceDefender Ultimate? Are you using those added features?? Does it make a difference over the free version?
I bought the ultimate but most the extra features need the beta and cynogen mod. I dont want to use a rom that is experimental. :/
There was an interesting article about this.....how to introduce a pain/pay point into an app. It has to be features that customers realize they need. If it's just some obscure specialist features most people will never pay.I did try and warn you, well not that you going to need beta mod more about the fact that the extra features is not worth it.![]()
I dunno if it's been said before, but the official RWC 2011 app is really good, I think. All the results, lots of stats to dig into and a game highlights package that works really well over 3G (although the English commentator completely mangles SA names). It's on the Market.

Unless I missed it, I don't like that you can't add matches to your calendar as reminders. I've just moved over to android (SGS2) from BB and the RWC BB app would add any of the matches directly into your calendar. Nice feature which I can't find on the droid app.
