TopTV cant keep up with demand

But I think if they really want to seduce clients. They have to proof to them why they should pay R529 (especially in this recession). They have been forever increasing their prices. I also can't wait to see what Super5Media has up their sleeve. WW4 is on it's way ... IPTV with the current bandwidth pricing is a BIG no no! I have that Satellite on your PC software and it's sucking it like crazy.
 
I never knew about Super5media when are they coming into the market - public launch that's. I won't ever pay R529 for rubbish - I'd only maybe like 15 channels, discovery,history channel, mnet,mtv etc. They increase their prices to keep the share holders smiling to the bank - Yes we will see what Super5Media have up their sleeves and MC have been in meetings over the weekend to discuss new model. Does that mean new packages with a variety of choice and it seems DSTv will also be offering installation and decoder at the same price. According to a rumour
 
If DStv are willing to give installation at R499 then they must be cracking up. They struggle so badly to give us anything at all. Saying they have had plans for month ... utter BS! Saying they are not worried ... utter BS! But in terms of people taking out Compact and Top TV ... I'd say it makes a lot of sense. Sort of the Best of both worlds :)
 
Before i get through and waste my time, what do they require the smart card for?

EDIT: nevermind, for those who dont know you need the smart card 16 digit number(lucky i wrote mine down cause the cards at home)

Got through after 40mins seems 40mins is the waiting time dam good luck guys

Yes, 40mins is the wait time on the 011 phone number - With Super5Media launching around the corner it'll be lovely to see the price wars begin - finally we can be like UK and get value for our money . Paying R529 for rubbish is not in my books. I remember 10years ago subscription use to cost R350 if not mistaken in 2002
 
I been trying to apply for this new Top Tv with little luck. Hope it gets it ass in gear if its planning on becoming a real throat to Multichoice, which I hope it does, cause in my opinion Multichoice has become a very arrogant and totalitarian organisation for which you pay a premium to watch reruns and is very expensive just for sport!
 
They should of anticipated this from the beginning I feel. I think a lot of people had DSTv becuase there was little or NO choice, watching SABC is a waste of time in anyway!
 
I have been watching the free to air channels for almost 5Years, and to be honest it is boring during the week, nothing is on. Once I heard about TopTv (ODM) I quickly jumped to toptv due to the value of money and channels offered like Discovery,History, topone, topmovies. etc- I am sick and tired of arrogant people moaning that TopTV is shown terrible channels, subscribe to the service and test drive the service first hand. What is R99 per month to test drive a product that cost more to mount on your roof
