TopTV cant keep up with demand

Well Done indeed.

This just comes to show: Give this country, as any other place in the world, something that is not a freakin rip-off with some value add to the end user, and you have happy customers wanting to support you!

Now when will the other service suppliers start to learn from this?

Now TopTV: Keep it up TOP and hope the teething problems are sorted out quickly. As fast as you gain them in this country is a understatement when thinking about how fast you can loose them and also your reputation...Ask the orange logo in the telecoms market :confused:

All major sporting events... Why does that sound like they might have something up their sleeve regarding Rugby/Cricket/Soccer :D
 
Competition should be encouraged as it is clearly being done :)

Hopefully there will be a lesson in there for MC.

TTV is being embraced in droves, which means MC is either overpriced or not perceived value for money.

Given the low profile advertising, I think MyBroadband has done much to get the message of TTV out there.
 
They say that the decoders were sold out on Saturday already.
Yet @ 12:00 on Sunday afternoon (yesterday) I bought a decoder from Game in Fourways. And from what I saw, they still had maybe 100 or more on the pile in their storage...

So i'm sure it was sold out quickly, but there were still some left on Sunday.

Getting installed and activated is the only issue now...

Look I am full of support of competion but TopTv realy seems like they are just rebranding http://www.mytvafrica.tv/
to broadcast it in South Africa.
 
the installers have no idea what is happening! I just called the installers that TopTv reffed to me and they have no idea how they are ment to be reimbursed for the installation, the one guy wanted to charge me R1000 for an installation of a dish! I hope this is sorted...
 
ya man, was like amped to get it all up and running and now it seems there is some misunderstanding between TopTv and the installers.
 
Unless the installers are actualy just rygin to make a extra buck. I am sure there are lots of them who are actualy going to try and wangle something of that sort
