Only reason I have not considered them yet. Any competition is good in our country, but alas I need to see what shows they have scheduled.

The TV guide, I think, will be uploaded as soon as the special of R499 finishes.

Installation delays

It is all good and well that the TopTV contact centre is ready for the next wave of subscribers. The problem, however, is with the installers. I got my decoder last Sunday. I'm still waiting for the installation. The installation was scheduled for today, but they never showed up. I'm slowly loosing interest in TopTV.

Be patient I think not even multichoice would be able to handle so much new business at a time (they're basically the same installers)

Hell yeah i agree with you. may be this installing agreed with multichoice that they'll drag their feet when it comes to Top Tv.

Why do you have to try and try? they knew that the demand would be high, they should have hired more casuals for the kick start of business. for me thats a punk move.

I got my decoder on the 1st of May 2010, i have been calling them trying to get an installer. and now i even wonder how longer should i wait for them to activate the service.

You must remember that ODM doesn't have operations here in South Africa but in Europe to cut down costs.. Once they run the satellites from South Africa cost will run....

I am confident with Ses as a shareholder we will have more content by end of the year ))))

Even with all the new subscribers to TopTV, Multichoice had very little cancellations. Maybe it is the sport. Maybe after the Super 14 the message would get through to them ?
It also depends on the content provided by TopTV, is it worthwhile, can any new TopTV customers let us know ?
