I've installed the Nations Forever version on my other PC and setup my mom, she will start playing TMNF now.

Daft question, but do I need to run Steam to play the game or is that just for the DL?

If you installed via Steam, most likely, however Nations is available standalone as well.

Good post and I will contribute after playing it tonite.

I agree that the SGIS server is not that fun to play on due to the nature of the tracks. All the nice intros but its these insane tracks which you need to run through 10 times before you can get to the end.

I would like some decent tracks pereferably one with laps since they are always fun.
