I committed a "potential" offense on the 8th of December when I went over a green traffic light doing 80km/h in a 60km/h zone on a road I do not use often. To date I still have not received a fine in the mail and it has been 35 days. ViewFine does not show anything for me so I am not sure if I am lucky or if it is still coming.
What I can say is that even if the fine was mailed after 32 days (the date stamped on the envelope) it won't always fly with them. I tried it with Sasolburg once and they told me to look at the date printed on the fine indicating when it was processed, which was on day 29. I ended up paying the fine.
