I recon its time to get this thread spreading through social media (facebook, google+, twitter) as a warning....

Reverse ransom - TRLTech (Rueben) - refund the people who you took money from - and I won't bother.
 
I don't think Reuben is coming back here again.

Either that, or he's getting warrants to check our IP addresses so he can sue us all for exposing his shoddy business practices.
 
Okay, but then please answer my previous question; why do you think it's justified to impede an ex-customer's right to freedom of speech as a condition for receiving a refund for money you wrongfully took?

I'm no lawyer, but I actually think that if Crysis were to take that up with the correct authorities, he'd have a very strong case of blackmail as well as fraud against you. I would certainly go seek legal advice had I been in his position.
 
Maybe if everything you said and did wasn't so downright shady and fraudulent people wouldn't hate your company that much. I think it might actually have been better for your image had you simply not entered this thread at all. All you're doing is making yourself and your company look even worse.

We have linked your nickname to your account on our system based on past support tickets received from you.

You have paid by means of EFT and there were never any debit orders processed against your bank account, so I am not sure what your bank statements got to do with anything?

I can also confirm that no threats have been sent to you, only invoice payment reminders and an e-mail stating that your account would be handed-over for collection, should you not settle the overdue balance.

We by no means impede crysis' right to freedom of speech.

If you read the thread from the beginning you will see that crysis stated that he will have the thread removed once the refund has been processed.

Then why make it part of the terms that he has to agree to in order to receive a refund? And then on top of that demand that he remove public complaints lodged on any medium? It bears absolutely no relevance to the fact that you took his money and now you need to pay it back.

What if he later decides this information needs to remain public? That choice is directly tied to his right to freedom of speech and that choice should not be a condition for him to receive his money, money that YOU wrongfully took.

Please Rueben, don't take us for fools. It is clear to anyone with half a brain what your agenda is. In fact, why are you making such demands in the first place? You are the one who took Crysis' money without his permission. He should be the one making demands, not you. If I walk down the street and grab someone's purse, I am not going to make demands before giving it back. That's called ransom.

Now you gotta workout how I "manufactured" the bank statements with the Consumer Council. Good luck with that one. Seems like you have alot of time to waste on getting to the wrong conclutions.

Once again you are addressing the wrong topic, (with the wrong forum member). Rather address the services you cancelled and the debit orders you doubled and sort that out. That is far more important.........

I am not nearly as good as you Sherlock, but I was wondering, work out who is Captain Morgan's "friend" please. Then let me (us know - I am sure there are other forum members also wondering about that by now) know as this thread is getting real interesting now. Shall it be published as "Fact" or "Fiction"

It does seem that way...

And it seems to think a standard response of "send your info to [email protected] and we will investigate" is enough to make the clients go away until it steals more of their money.
 
Even though they wrote up an elaborate contract, forcing me to to remove this thread within 24hours etc, they have failed to live up to their side by still not refunding my account within 24 business hours of receiving the signed contract. They got it on Thursday last week. Which means, how can I take this contract seriously if they have already breached it?

Well if they breached the terms then all is null and void. you do not need to void any of your posts or negative comments...
