It absolutly does not work with roaming profiles on a 2003 domain, weather the profiles are cached to the local machine or not. Takes user about 1/2hr to logon so must be doing or checking something on the profile that is sitting on the server (which isn't allowing it to do what it wants to probably).
They know about it but I couldn't be bothered. Told all uses not to use it - if they do - get moved into OU for the naughty boys - no more access to installing anything, bam!

The issue which you are experiencing is known to us.
We are working hard on solving this issue and expect the problem to be fixed within a couple of weeks. We would be happy to notify you once a version with the fix is released.
In the meantime, you can apply the following work-around solution:
1) Open Rapport's Console (Start > Programs > Trusteer Rapport > Rapport Console)
2) Click on the arrow icon to move to page 2
3) Click on "Edit Policy" in the "Security Policy" widget
4) Type the required characters
5) Locate "Protect Rapport from Unauthorized Removal" and choose "Never" in the Drop-down list
6) Click on "Save"
7) Restart your PC and see if the problem still occurs
