Tshwane Council Meeting Thread

Looks like the municipal manager ain't taking their s**t.

"the matter is between the ANC and its councillors, not the Tshwane metro. We can proceed..."
 
How is this even a problem? The IEC should know who the ward councilor is.
 
"He said the mayor and the rest of the team that will be appointed, will have to deal with going to address communities that are ANC strongholds."

Wot? You can't just give up your obligation to represent those wards and say "Nah, the Mayor has to deal with it." What am I even reading?

ANCs way forward is to make peoples lives as **** as possible for the next few years, thats their game plan now, we see it starting already. So come 2019, they can say, you see, you didn't vote ANC so we couldn't help you.

They should be careful with what they wish for. The EFF is capable of doing exactly the same thing in ANC-run councils...
 
This stuff is so boring. Why can't the swearing in of councillors be done before the meeting, with the meeting being exclusively for other items on the agenda?
