Hi Guys

My cousin is in the market for a new TV but knows just as little as I do.

Could you please recommend a set.

Size: Around 55"
Budget: Around R10k (Always debatable when it really comes to value for money though)
Intended Use: Simply watching movies, series and perhaps DSTV/Streaming.

I see there is a 55" Samsung MU7000 for around R11k but with the HORRENDOUS bleeding and ghosting not even sure if it should be considered.

Is the Hisense 55M7000UWG a better option if he can stretch the budget a little?

Any other recommendations?

Thanks in advance!

Bleeding and ghosting is not generally caused by the TV ....... but by the installation and antenna system.

Why not consider getting a locally produced Hisense TV and you will be doing something for local job creation and local business instead of an imported TV?

That is exactly what I asked in my original post.

Dionwired running a special on the 55N3000UW with Apple Tv 4k 32GB for R9,999. Worth a look given it's in the price range I'd say?
