Two prong extensions ?

Pictures please.
Excuse the kak photo but it is 6am and Im still sipping my 1st cuppa
With 2 prongs I also just screw a 'block connector' onto the 2 terminals and then run this through a short cable to a standard 3 prong plug. This is for my external harddrive which makes it easier for transporting and connecting to standard 3 prong outlet in wall at home and office

I actually got one of these and it helped.

That’s actually a pretty clever design and they won’t end up falling out.

Maybe a bit low on clearance from the wall for some transformers.

From where?

Of course in a perfect world we’d have something like a wall-socket with 8 or more USB-C kind of connectors that can automatically adjust voltage and wattage accordingly and can he easily extended in line removing all the hassle and making it all neat.

Put one single brain inside the wall socket, instead of one inside each device power supply.

Slightly neater and maybe even safer option - take the clip-in euro adapter part off, drill holes in the back of a 3-pin SA plug, run a couple short jumpers through and hot-glue it on.
Just did something similar:

The problem is, although the connector may be standard, the requirement, monitoring and safety features down-line is not.

But yes, they could have made it easier.

Oh here is another mod at work on my desk

2 wires straight over the American flat 2 prong stuff with heatshrink. Easy

I used to do something similar with bigger ones, except I put a plastic plate on (where the euro part came off) and then a grommet, then a piece of good quality wire to a plug. Solves the heavier adapter wanting to fall out problem.

For the smaller adapters, the adapters in post #23 are also available with a one-way clip. Once pressed in, it never comes out again.

It was from Game but like 18 months ago.

There is a "round" 2 pin on the front for the larger plugs

What's wrong with you all?
Why is everyone looking for SANS certificate or whatever it is?
Just do as any red blooded South African does

"Hold my beer, 'n boer maak 'n plan, what could go wrong?"

Too easy
