alanf85, what you say makes sense to me, but in the case of terrorist plots and terrorism I don't think the USA and UK can be appropriately classified as 'open democracies' in dealing with the terrorist threat. I just look at all the lies and secrecy and hushed up deals that have been going on since Sept 11, and I simply cannot trust Bush or Blair, and I cannot trust that we are getting all the information, or that the info we are getting is 100% true.

Bush has been proved over and over and over and over and over again to be a liar. But that being said, I hardly trust Islamic extremists who want to blow up innocent people in the name of an imagined holy war.
 
In current political fashion, the "terrorist plot" is the new "Weapons of Mass destruction"
 
Thanks, all the propoganda from the anti Israel lobby group gets a bit tedious, maybe I'll watch it after a few beers for a laugh.

Galloway is a raving lunatic who enjoys the limelight. Why does he have to personally insult the presenter. Sky News has been far more biased against Israel, they gave him 9 minutes to let loose his tirade yet that doesn't seem good enough for him. He won't be happy even if Israel is wiped off the map. He will find some other cause that gets him back on T.V.

Hah is it Galloway again? I can't watch it from work.

I remember when I was living in the UK Galloway was always on TV complaining about something or other. He went a bit quite whilst being investigated over fraud in regard to the food-for-oil program.

I guess he got off and now wants to make some noise again, he loves himself.

In the discussion about taking sides between the UK/US or the Islamic Extremists. I take the US/UK.

At least in these countries nutters like Galloway can say what they want and not get killed.

Also the US and UK do not target innocent civilians on purpose. That is a fact. Islamix Extremists target innocent civilians.

I don't see how anyone can be on the side of people who openly target civilians. How many kids where on those planes?
 
Watch the 911 documentary Loose Change and Alex Jones' Terrorstorm. Gives you a bit of insight into the way the US government operates and all the things about 911 that just don't add up. The Bush administration and it's elite made huge profits from the results of 911.

Hmm - added to youtube in the 6th - plan thwarted yesterday - so I dont think you have the right thread.
 
Want to talk about time anomalies - one of the reports I read online today (CNN or Sky or BBC) said that Bush had been briefed about the thwarted attacks on Saturday and Sunday. I didn't understand how that could be the case. I don't know if someone made a mistake or if there is more to this.

Edit: Here is a link. I didn't originally read this on Yahoo, it was DEFINITELY on CNN, Sky, BBC, or a local news site.

Snow said Bush first learned in detail about the plot on Friday, and received two detailed briefings on it on Saturday and Sunday, as well as had two conversations about it with British Prime Minister Tony Blair.

Our biggest worry should be when Bush and Blairs terms finish... They are doing a great job at keeping extremists in check.
 
Lets be honest, Bush is an idiot. But its not like there weren't any islamic terrorists attacks against western interests before he was president.
