Uncapped cable in the uk cost me less than R400 per month...and was 10 meg speed. How I miss that lil thing. I just cant wait till telcum ups line speeds to 8 meg next year...my 3 gig cap is so going to take that well. Instead of it getting raped in 8 hours it'll get raped in 4. Man this is so lovely.
My friend has an isp (he's one of the bigshots there) and he says that cap is nothing more than a money making thing. His 4meg uncapped at his house costs his company R80 a month. That's it...R80. They sell that same product for R1400. It's R1320 profit a month per client they make. Is it just me or can we all say -getting ripped off ? But that's bussiness, get as much money out of people for as little as possible.

Can we not complain about such things to the ASA?? That has to be false & intentionally misleading advertising.

imo, 'uncapped' became a missunderstood buzzword that the isp's started using as a marketing ploy
