I have 2 Uncapped ADSL specials.

1. 512k (Sat) 5 IP addresses (12 month Contract) First Month Free no Setup

2. 1024k (SAT) 5 IP addresses (12 month Contract) First Month Free no Setup

Wouldn't be too bad month to month, but as you say, not for a year. IS/satellite seems pretty unreliable too.

I wouldn't say false advertising, it is product aimed at business where VAT is claimed back, hence, you don't need to take it into account.
 
How does it differ from Openweb's R999 uncapped special other than having to sign a contract?
 
james i think your a bit off if just says uncapped?

why not business uncapped?

as a home user i cannot claim back VAT thus it should be the full price inclusive or its misleading


do you go into a computer and get the ex vat price first?
 
IOW it's more for business so you can host a website over your adsl using your domain name and one of your 5 static ip's ;)

I dont know, ive never gone into a computer before..

But quite a few prices are exclusive of VAT, even some PC shop advertisements..
Its generally how people deal with things in the supplier/IT world.. and you would expect alot of businesses to be interested in this, so to advertise a higher price is just strange.

It says at the bottom that the prices are minus VAT, so you can work it out for yourself. It even says "from 1350" so implying that businesses could get it for this price. I mean how many prices are there for just the 512kb uncapped satellite solution?

Anyway, what is the uncapped express offering? I thought satellite latency was bad?
