Unexpected pregnancy

Yeah, these kids know nothing :p

Slightly OT: the other day I was going through our family photo's on our family PC at home and I couldn't find a single pic of her, so I think my wife deleted it. Which is not necessarily a bad thing because I know her intentions were to reduce me from mulling over the same issue. I hardly think about her nowadays. Last month was 3 years ago I saw her for the last time :)

reminds me that when i met my ex, she encouraged me to delete all the photos i had kept of my past girlfriends and trips, now i have nothing left. i also used to get hung up over girls quite badly, but i think i am over relationships for good now

This thread makes me sad. Why does Mug have to "man up" and take on the responsibility of an unexpected pregnancy?

As a woman in this day and age, the onus is on me to take full responsibility for my birth control. If I choose not to be protected, because I want to have a baby, the onus is on me to "woman up" and take responsibility for it - especially if I have lied to my partner about being "safe". The same goes if I don't use protection and wind up geting an STD - I'd have no one to blame but myself.

It's utter bull**** to blame Mug, and tell him that he's a dad now and he must deal with it. If you want a baby that badly, and use a friend as your sperm donor, that's fine. Just don't expect him to be thrilled about it and be happy to throw his life away because of your baby-dreams.

Well - if she'd done that - not taken the pill and told him it's safe - then I'm in agreement with you.

Smart wife!

:D

:D

that is exactly what she did.
i asked her before we had sex, and after , and the next day.

Ah - ok - sorry - I misread the whole situation then - I thought it was just like a mutual "OK"
Lying about birth control!?!? Fsck that! Refer to "Drop down on one knee and the punch to the gut!"

Seriously though - she's a c*nt for doing that.

If you can't trust your friend of 2 years that gives you a night of passion! Then who can you trust?!? :erm:

whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahaha sorry dude but seriously LOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
Just snorted my rooibos

A lot of people with holier-than-thou attitudes in this thread. I know of a psycho chic who used to "take care" of a mates condom when they were done, and got herself pregnant to try and hook him.

Both of them are at fault here. If she didn't want a kid, then she shouldn't have agreed to unprotected sex. Same with him.

It's always easier to comment from your keyboard, until it happens to you, and then you realise that women aren't as innocent as they seem either. If she doesn't want to abort then she should be responsible for looking after it if he chooses not to be involved. This forced blackmail BS against guys has got to stop.

You do know that some people use the rhythm method as birth control, right? Very stupid and unreliable imo, but that is prolly why she said it's safe.

The rhythm method is not birth control, it is a trap! Females "use" it knowing it doesnt work, hoping to trick males!

If a woman told me she is using the rhythm method, I'd tell her to voetsek!

That's pretty messed up. :wtf:

How can she be five weeks pregnant if you had sex 3.5 weeks ago? I think she is trying it on. A medical abortion is safe up to 9 weeks of pregnancy. It is really not such a big deal, just some discomfort.
Just be straight with her, say you do not love her and are not ready to have a family with her. Also mention that you doubt that you are the father as it appears she was pregnant before you had sex.
