Hi, last time I saw a discussion about this was back in 2011. I thought I'd get one going again - what are your thoughts on the various universities in this country for getting a software development degree? I'm currently indecisive between Rhodes and UCT

I'd go for UCT, very good CompSci programme, probably the best in the country.

I've also heard that due to the size of Rhodes, it makes the programme more - intimate? For lack of a better word :wtf:

+1 for UCT. I worked with the Rhodes folks on a bunch of things, and it's not a bad alternative, but the impression I got was that "exposure" to academia and industry is somewhat limited there.
