Unshaped vs. Shaped

hi

can anyone please tell me if unshaped DSL is also uncapped?
i've visited numerous websites but their information is all so unclear.
some say it is, others don't mention it and some say it isn't.

However, i'm sure all would agree that if Unshaped was Uncapped, South Africa would be a much better place :)
 
unshaped = not shapped (shaped= limiting "traffic/per second" or throughput based on priority of protocols
uncapped = never ending internet,always on. Normally only economically viable to telco's by shaping the data..but inclines in its most distorted view that you should always be able to access

hope these crude attempts help clarify it to you at some level
