You seem to be far removed from reality? You would have read at least two articles already claiming it's not about the language right? You then see how these Pro-English people violently attack the peaceful opposition. Still saying it's not about race? In a city and or country you will say leading languages should be exchanged for English just because? Please remind Russia, France, Germany and others like Spain just how smart you are. Maybe they should apply this same logic...

Research has proven home tongue tuition is the best way. Build more universities and cater for all languages. Please don't be this naïve ngwe23.

You are conflating issues and all over the place. You are advancing the notion that this is about race, but that notion is illogical based on the following:
1. There is a significant section of the black population that speaks Afrikaans as a first language.
2. English is a white language. Surely if this was an anti white movement then they would be protesting against both English and Afrikaans?

Sigh..... because the institution of learning loses its rep. Like the dozens of "degrees" issued to exiled cadres by the" University of Pennsylvania", remember? Seemingly awarded just for pitching up. Some employers binned applications without reading them just because of that.

I this instance are you suggesting the lost rep because they are ditching Afrikaans? You will find that Afrikaans adds little value to the university.

Your Pennsylvania example doesn't relate to what you said earlier. In the cadre case it is clear employers felt the university must have been operating that way historically. While you're saying UPs rep will somehow taint degrees obtained legitimately in the past.

Yep, that is what I am saying. Employers won't say, hang on, this degree was earned prior to 12 noon on 22 February 2016, so it may be kosher. Ain't nobody got time for that.

No numpty, the institution loses its rep because there are no classes taking place and because students are rioting and breaking things. Please do not put words in my mouth.
