And between Sunday night and Monday night you gave yourself measles?

Symptoms started Saturday night, I though it was mild sunstroke, Sunday got worse and bumps behind ears etc started on Sunday evening...
Finally got to a doc on Tuesday morning. Temp @ 42'c, instantly took in and isolated in an air-conditioned room.
Doc saw me, told me its chicken pox, gave me syphilis medication, sleeping tabs, re-hydration stuff and pain killers. Worst few days of my adult life.

Wow! That doesn't sound pleasant AT ALL!! You have my sympathies! How long ago was this?

Was last summer.
The worst was my inability to eat and my complete inability to sleep.
First decent night's sleep I got was the following Thursday.

At least I was booked off work for two weeks. Spent them rotting on a couch catching up on series.
