It is quite surprising* how many "Never Trumpers" are emerging from the right wingers on this forum. Strange that they did not speak up earlier.

* no, it is not.
This will change when/if Trump wins though. /shrugs. It will be their 'I told you so' glorious moment.

Tactic hasn't changed though. It used to be hillary's mails and now, it is "what if our man was involved in 25+ rapes (allegedly) but have you looked at the other guy who also has a smear (allegedly) for one rape"

In the early days of the trump campaign and eventual technical victory there were a huge number of people celebrating "liberal tears". @marine1 comes to mind, for example. Odd that he* and his fellow trumpeters are no longer participating now that trump's star is waning fast.

We are stuck in this thread with the "true" believers - all of whom are now disavowing trump.

Oh... yes. All of whom are disavowing trump except @rietrot - but his fealty to anything aside from childish "owning the libtards" is notorious.

* I'm going to give Marine1 a mulligan here, who would have thought trump was a nazi supporter 4 years ago.

Tell us, Chris, about your extensive epidemiology research.

Do tells us about the wilful economic destruction by scared governments who always want to be seen to be "doing something" (even if that something ultimately harms people).

Do tell us why the ENTIRE US would need to be shut down (not sure he actually has the power to do that as governers seem to have a lot of power) given the different infection rates, hospitalisations etc.

Remember the scientists advising him will never lose their jobs, the politicians and government officials in charge of making huge decisions will always get paid their full salary (like in SA) shutdown or no shutdown. They have no real skin in the game...

I love this. There is an equal mix of right wing trumpist talking points and reusing actual factual criticism of trump, but now twisted to point to Biden.

Kudos.

Groups Campaigning Against Trump:
- Democrats
- Republicans
- Independents
- Women
- Minorities
- Trump’s Own Family
If only that list included middle aged white Afrikaans males.

The level of vociferous indigation would be staggering.

That is exactly my thought on the threads related to Trump since be beat Clinton.
Endless commentary, photos, memes etc - clutching at anything to demonise trump in desperation to have that "see, we told you so" glorious moment.

Chris, I get that you and I are polling nerds and for me, that's high praise... but... I'm also a policy wonk... What plan for Covid do you think these folk will introduce this week?

EgD35iBWkAAnsXF

What plan for NK?

What plan for Iran?

What plan for protests?

Will the Covington kid discuss evictions?

Will the St. Louis gun couple address small business closing while corporations rake in obscene profits?

This week is going to be culture-war and identity-politics ground-zero, 'cos that's all they got.

Yeah well, once again for the record: We told you so.
