Oh right, you are one of those who think that the Alien and Predator films are really subliminal representations of white supremacy. You see, you have to believe it in order to see it.

A culture and history of racist misrepresentation may have something to do with it. Why has there been considerable tolerance among the silent majority of white people for animal-like, demonic representations of Black people in media and popular culture?

The short answer is that we are dealing with a culture of domination. It is a culture that thrives on the sexualized demonization of Black people. Two examples of this are Ridley Scott’s Alien, which comports with the trope of Black women as alien breeders and Predator, written by brothers Jim and John Thomas, that riffs on images of Black men as dreadlocked, violent and superhuman.

You know. Here is what I like about you and I hate to admit it. Your lateral thinking is awesome. Whenever someone says something, you take it as a a anagram/word finding challenge and conjure up words that are hidden in the sentence. I think I am beginning to get there. Here are other words I found in my sentence apart from disgust.

I get your point, and I note also that the pictures were obviously taken at different times of the year - as was the one konfab displayed.
However, I am going to snidely remark that the whole point of the remodelling might have been to put in that solid pathway - as Melania's tottering heels were probably giving her problems on the grass.

TDS is so strong with me that since I’m not sure which garden is which, I’m unable to respond.

If Melania’s is the colourful garden my response would be : “what’s with all the vibrant colours? That’s so gaudy. Can she not be more elegant and understated? Why Dutch tulips? Can she not find a more American flower?”

If Melania’s is the other, “That’s so drab and dreary. Is it a reflection of her life with Donald? Completely unimaginative and lacking any creativity”
