What in the wide world of sports is going on there??
Bachelor party was my first though tbh.

/Confession I was in a dress in strip club for mine. Although I didn't pull it off like that gentleman, I also didn't piss myself.

Or he's just a nutter who wet himself, wtf

Imagine believing all Americans who happen to be on one side of the political spectrum are incapable of patriotism.

Imagine believing your side has exclusive rights.

Imagine believing that, and then calling yourself the 'party of Lincoln' *AND* defending confederate statues and base names.

Imagine it.

Adam Serwer made this great point. There's a lot about the civil war, about people from the South, about US military heritage, about Republican party heritage etc. that you can honour. Yet somehow they don't want to do that, they want to only honour the slave traders, racists and traitors.

Kind of gives the game away.

Anyway peeps, as fascinating as this perfect example of the height of Western Civilization is, it is off topic and belongs in the Brexit thread. Or in the garbage. Same difference I guess.

Damn that is such a good point.

Me, from yesterday...

Make the case for Braxton Bragg rather than say Audie Murphy, or Robert Smalls, or Ruben Rivers, or Pascal Poolaw, or Harriet Tubman.

Don't think this is vaguely true (Trump won Arkansas 60-33 in 2016) but the poll does his continuous problem with independents.

Ya, lots to doubt about that poll, as per the clever polling folks. Poor methodology, historical inaccuracy etc. But even with a much wider margin of error (because of above problems), that's a helluva swing.

This, however, is notable:

@buka001

A QAnon lunatic in Massachusetts was arrested after livestreaming himself leading police on a multi-town car chase with his five children in the vehicle before allegedly ramming a cruiser and crashing into a tree in New Hampshire.

Interesting. I don't see anything as obviously wrong as with the other polls we've had so far.

I wonder if asking whether you approve might be a leading question and influence the next question asking who you would vote for.

Example someone thinks Trump's response has been to soft. They say no don't approve.
Then the next question who will you vote for is biased because of the first.
