You do know that just prior to the emergence of the pandemic in the USA, Trump had moved to reduce the food aid programme in the USA, by eliminating access to the SNAP programme for 700 000 individuals.

It was supposed to take effect on 1 April.

All the states that aren’t shutting down are going to suffer much worse in the next few weeks and just drag out the time before normal services can be resumed. And injecting the rest of America because their borders are so porous

They're not fake news. You should be grateful for the role that the media plays in making the world a better place. For example, it is the media that brought state capture to our attention.

Sorry, I am not grateful for the lying, deceit, propaganda and Fake News™ BS. Zero trust. It may be that in very few cases they did some good but the net effect from these cretins is not good.

Like politicians it is safe to assume these people are the very worst that society has to offer and the only thing to do is treat them with absolute distrust and disdain until they surprise you with some good act... then after a little while go back to distrust and disdain.

In my opinion, the media has a positive nett effect, despite their bad apples.
