Yes, this is really strange. I thought after firing Opera up and enabling the VPN I was home and dry. Then I checked for a few titles specific to US, they weren't there. So I went to WhatsMyIP Address and it turns out I've been allocate a European IP address. I did some Googling and this seems to be an issue with the Opera built in VPN.

So I tried to test Smart DNS Proxy but my Vodacom Fibre is using a transparent proxy so everything resolves to their DNS addresses. I guess my only other option now is VPN, so I am looking at Express and Nord with the former being a sharp $12 odd a month

Did you activate your external IP in the DNS portal? Also need to do that before it will work
