Fascinating maybe because you don't understand it. It's a comparison of margin of wins Vs a win Vs loss . You do realise it's not exactly the some thing? It's not even virtually the same thing.

I think you'll find, even on your side, that Alex Jones really doesn't hold up to scrutiny well at any level.

You don't like CNN. I get it. We all get it. Millions 'tho accept it, much as they do with MSNBC, Sky, BBC and so on, as a reputable everyday news source... Did you tune into CNN or InfoWars to watch the Iraq war or the Arab spring?

Bring on your right leaning sources, but know this, I'm pointing at you and laughing when you bring Alex Jones to this fight.

Yeah that's not what continuously means. I don't believe there was much if any electoral margin debate in the prior thread of 500+ pages.

Errrmmm... actually not. You seem to lack basic knowledge of the US electoral system.

The correct answer is maybe about 1.5% of flipped votes. Wisconsin , Pennsylvania, Michigan , Florida would have all had seats going to the other side. That's 75 votes right there. 1.5%, and Hillary would have won by the same "landslide" as Trump

Msnbc's comic shows that some on here treat as a news source is even worse, that's on the same level as Beforeitsnews were the crazies have been hiding in their bunkers from Niburo for the last 10 years.

My goto is ZH which I'll compare with Reuters or our local guys for balance. The only time I'll visit CNN is when I want to laugh at something stupid.

I'd tell you that missing Nicolle Wallace, Ari Melber, Chris Hayes and Lawrence O'Donnell make your life poorer but you wouldn't listen anyway. Sad.

erm, actually yes, and it has nothing to do with the US electoral system. % improvement over a base is a supremely generic statistical concept, the range of numbers available is equally generic in concept.

The hypothetical question I posed did NOT say flipped votes, read again, posed generically with intent. Ironically to keep it as basic as humanly possible to lead even the blindest most stubborn mule to a trickle of water. Alas, I can't make him drink.

Yes, and the answer is probably less than 1.5% of actual votes. Which directly results in an improvement of a huge % in electoral votes.

Whilst the countrywide popular vote has no relevance whatsoever, the state by state vote has a direct relation to the electoral college vote. Hence wise the conversation would be, we need 1.5% more in Florida, 0.5% in Michigan , etc.

I'm surprised you are actually wanting to discuss statistics, yet kept persisting in some 30 vote number, which I still can't figure out where it came from.

TRUMP WON'T DECLASSIFY DEMOCRATIC MEMO ON RUSSIA PROBE

WASHINGTON*(AP) — Citing national security concerns, the White House on Friday formally notified the House intelligence committee that President Donald Trump is "unable" to declassify a memo drafted by Democrats that counters GOP allegations about abuse of government surveillance powers in the FBI's Russia probe.

White House counsel Don McGahn said in*a letter to the committee*that the memo contains "numerous properly classified and especially sensitive passages" and asked the Democrats to revise the memo with the help of the Justice Department. He said Trump is still "inclined" to release the memo in the interest of transparency if revisions are made.

The president's rejection of the Democratic memo is in contrast to his enthusiastic embrace of releasing the Republican document, which he pledged before reading to make public. The president declassified the document last week, allowing its publication in full.

The president has said the GOP memo "vindicates" him in the ongoing Russia investigation led by special counsel Robert Mueller. But congressional Democrats and Republicans, including House Speaker Paul Ryan and Rep. Trey Gowdy of South Carolina, who helped draft the GOP memo, have said it shouldn't be used to undermine the special counsel.
