Usage inaccurate

That's the problem with this whole data/bandwidth accuracy.

We can't trust iBurst to keep tabs on our accounts, therefore who can we trust.

Imagine this happening to your savings/cheque accounts. There would be pandemonium. You would never trust your bank again.

Now, don't get me wrong. Personally my data has been accurate.

I've even bought more data with my credit card recently and all has been well.

But I shudder to think, how will I ever prove to iBurst one day when things go wrong.

It's like playing Russian roulette, I'm just waiting for my turn...

eMail of bandwidth usage reports

Apologies for the delay. The email of usage reports will be reinstated by the end of the week. The accuracy is being verify and tested but in the mean time the bandwidth usage can be viewed on the web site.

Hey The_Techie,

I've had the same problems before... i found a solution...

Just stop caring about iburst doing anything cos they wont... I was blamed before and i never used it for anything but facebook and emails.

Now im jumping ship... tata iworst.

Accuracy my nads. The last time the reports were accurate was just before pluto was declared as not a planet.

OoMk0o5i3,
If you believe your bandwidth usage report is inaccurate, please PM me your contact and account details and we'll investigate.
The bucket is calculated as follows: monthly quota and carry over plus any boosters. The bucket cannot exceed a value of double the monthly quota plus any boosters.

I always wondered why they called an object at the outer extremities of our Solar system after Mickey's dog?

Pluto was declared as a dwarf planet in 2006: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pluto

Anyway, this was in the reports I received yesterday via email:

Both of them used exactly my allocated bandwidth, highly unlikely if you ask me...

Edit:
I just logged into the website to check my usage:

Total:4263.12 MB
Remaining:0.00 MB

Carried over:0.0

Account2

Carried over:0.0

On the purchase bandwidth page:
Account1
Downloaded:3148.29 MB
Uploaded:1114.83 MB
Total:4263.12 MB
Remaining:0.00 MB
Purchased:0.0
Carried over:0.0

Account2

Uploaded:3371.28 MB
Total:13345.87 MB

For account1 the website stats seems okay, but according to my report I have downloaded in excess of 8GB while not being at home and whilst being capped. Though the figures are more conformed, I still do not trust them.
