USB drivers for Android devices

Hey all, I hope you get this message... I am also having trou le with my bv6800pro. I have been using my usb cable to my specific laptop for more than a year without problem. Last week I tried to connect to anoher laptop and had he same problem of the laptop not picking up the phone. Didnt mind as it was to transfer a video.
This week I connect bv6800pro to the laptop via usb and the dropdown menu "selection", you mentioned has dissapeared completely... So the laptop charges the phone via cable.. but no option to change to "file transfer"
Have no clue whatsoever to solve this, been in the settings etc... Nothing... And I
Tried google drive and it just loads forever... Have no way to get the stuff off my phone... And it is critical that I clean my bv6800pro completely as it crashed a couple of months ago when it reached 96,% full... Not sure what to do
and I am affraid it will crash again if I dont empty it also have to make a video for cash and can't afoord to Lose the client.
Please help

Oh and the laptop is old... and a previous time on another laptop I plugged into, didnt pick up the images I wanted to transfer...

Seems like a virus on my phone .. what a shlep all the pictures and videos when transferred in another way are corupted files unable to view. .. soooo weird
