I recently applied for a fiber line through Telkom, unfortunately our estate has signed an exclusive deal with them which means I'm stuck with them for the foreseeable future, and opted for the month to month package that does not include the free wifi router.

My question is do all packages come standard with a modem that connects to the ODM or how does the setup work. Can i attached a Google wifi router directly into the standard package that comes with the Telkom month to month package or will i have to get a modem/router/odm?

Don't see it being a problem, I'm using Google Wifi on OpenServe with Axxess.

LAN output from the ONT goes into the WAN input on the Google Wifi router, then LAN out from the Google Wifi to your network/Google Wifi mesh.

The cabling is disgusting. Do you live in a cave?

Couldn't be bothered, close cabinet door, mess gone. Don't think it's cave bad:
