Vasectomy concerns

I have heard shocking stories about men who go with their wives and speak to the doc about getting the snip and the doc ignores them and turns to the wife and asks if this is something that she has thought about.
Granted that is in America where men must just shutup and give up their sperm on demand.

There's no way a new born costs R5k pm. Maybe R3k if there are doctor visits.

The cost of ownership is not just feeding them food and putting clothes on their back. Your whole life changes and you need to consider how their presence affects everything else.

I had to increase my life cover with each child as I need to make sure they are covered. I bought a larger house, we have an extra car as cycling to the shops with a toddler in my backpack might not go down well. Entertainment changes, holidays change, there are birthday parties, (play) school fees, school lunch, toys, etc

R5K does not go far with a child.

* On nappies we spent R800 pm
* Formula was R1000 pm
* Wet wipes R100 (they schit a lot)
* Clothes was R500pm at Ackermans
* Petrol increased by one fuel tank a month per child, R450 (small cars)
* Nanny expenses increased
* Washing powder expenses increased by R100 per child (they schit a lot)
* Doctor bill was R500 pm (they get sick a lot or they make you sick)
* Medical aid increases by R450 per child
* Then another R1K in random expenses

But did you factor in their depreciation in the cost of ownership?

Not only that, they get so damn dirty so quickly, they like to play in mud, like to mess food, yoghurt and tomato sauce all over their clothes.

Oh how prices have changed since '14.

I am considering a vasectomy. From what I have gathered if all goes well, there is no decrease in sexual function or desire. Also the operation is quick and relatively painless. It can be done under a local anesthetic, which is what I would prefer.

But I have also heard horror stories. One guy I know said he woke from the operation in terrible agony that lasted for a year. He told me that it was the worst pain that he had ever experienced and that he would NEVER have had the operation if he had known what he would go through.

To anyone who has had this done, was it as easy as they all claim?

Also, any recommendations for who I can speak to about this in the Randburg / Sandton area? Preferably someone who has never had patients subsequently change gender, or their surnames to "Bobbit"... :sick:

Did mine about 15 years back
I was tender for a few days

After that all good

I can also do it free of charge. Im not a doctor by any means nut I have confidence in my steady hands and YouTube. Let me know.
open wide....

Had mine done a few days back, pretty smooth and painless..

Just waiting a bit before flushing out the pipes, asked the SO to help out a bit ;)
