I would really like to get my hands on one of these bad boys to put it through the paces. Seems like a good product.
Thor, my son, I art thy father Odin.
How may we rectify such an injustice as this, and bequeath thou with thy rightful VDSL routing device?
I love you you guys.
I don't know. I have mikrotiks and ubiquities and drytek isn't cheap I'm so afriad to fork out and buy one and then it might not live up to the hype. If that makes sense? (saying this with the biggest respect of course )
If you goto Network -> WAN Settings
Select VDSL, enable VLAN ID and set that to 835
VLAN ID set to 835 worked on a TP-Link Archer VR900
Seems we have xDSL/VDSL in our area now, would the old MWEB FON Router work.
Removed mweb firmware though, technicolor TG589vn v3 10.5.2.F.BN ?

That modem works 100% for me.
I didn't change anything, after Telkom changed my line to VDSL I restarted the modem and it was working.Tx. just applied for the Upgrade
What settings you use for VDSL ?

Hi there,
How long did it take for the change from ADSL to VDSL to be implemented?
Yesterday I had called Telkom to change my 4Mbit to 10, they said I could go to 40Mbit, I said fine lets do it
On another note:
I have just received the D-Link DSL-224 router, does anyone have any knowledge on how good this "badboy" is?
Its fairly new, and cannot find much info on the net about it...I have done the whole setup and all ( pretty straight forward ), just like to know is there a way to set bandwidth limits to the Guest a/c...

It took maybe 30 minutes to an hour to change from ADSL to VDSL but I've read posts from people saying that's not the case anymore, I think the new time frame is a week or less.
