Hi peeeps of MYBB!!

I recently bought a vega 56 reference card, and flashed its bios to vega 64 bios. Was very easy to do and also successful.

I then proceed to OC my card a little bit more, as a lot of people can do it without touching the volts even.

By applying only a +1% on frequency, memory from 945mhz to 1000mhz, and power limit to +50%.

After doing this when i open heaven benchmark it says my gpu freq is at 2400mhz and my memory at 1500mhz. It also bombs out immediately, restarting my pc. Gpu-z shows the frequencies at where it should be. I am very confused. And when i change the oc back to stock settings, heavens benchmark is still at 2400mhz for gpu and memory 1500mhz. Only after restarting pc does it revert back to normal.

I can't find anything on the net explaining that wrong frequency readings in heaven benchmark.

Any help will be appreciated!

Unigine dont report accurate clock speeds, rather use msi afterburner & riva tuner statistics server.

Thx boys, i believe the gpu just got over hot real fast - i'll have to look into getting either a waterblock or aftermarket cooler.
