Verification, Motherboard stuffed?

I always thought Intel motherboards were very reliable

Never have had a motherboard fail on me (DOAs is all I've had thus far), though I haven't bought Intel motherboards since the Pentium 3. Last few boards have all been Asus and Gigabyte.

Board sounds dead tho, was it moved at all before it started this? Or just one morning it did that?

Box is empty and waiting for the upgrade.
Currently using this "awesome" beast with windows xp, 40GB hdd, 128meg FX5500 and a 2.8GHz P4.

Just to report back, got my swap-out mobo yesterday (thanks PostmanPot), plugged it all in, and problem is gone. Working like a dream!
