Hi all
I have a 1Mbps adsl line and my ISP is Cybersmart. This morning my data throughput dropped to about 3kbps (as reported by my router). And Cybersmart support does not have a clue why this is happening.
The router syncs, logs in successfully, pings are less than 200ms to various sites, dns is working, just the data is coming through at misrable speeds (i.e. unusable). I timed it. 20 minutes to halfway load cybersmart's home page. There is no difference between local and intrnational sites (which would rule out seacom troubles)
Tried on wireless and connecting via an ethernet cable to the router. Router reports that everything is perfect. Cybersmart cannot see anything faulty on their side.
Is anyone else experiencing this?
