My boss needs to chat regularly with co-workers in Durban and Johannesburg, and Skype & Windows Live Messenger does not cut the mustard anymore, cos it only supports one-to-one video conferencing.

I am looking at alternatives at the moment & would love to hear what you are using in your company. I know there are really good pro video conferencing solutions out there, but most of them start at R60000, which is a bit too steep for us at the mo.

Solutions I have tested :

ooVoo - hosted on their servers and takes really long to get going
nefsis - same problem as ooVoo, but a lot of functionality

Solutions that I havent tried yet :

Microsoft Office 2007 Live Meeting

Nice thing about live meeting is that you can purchase server software and host your video conferences from your own site.

Any suggestions, please share. :)

Vox had plans to do Video Conferencing. So far skype has been the best thing one on one.

We use Cisco WebEx at work. Works really well, and you can send anyone a meeting invite via email.
