I installed ubuntu 8.10 for some friends, used my huawei e220 which it picked up beautifully do download some stuff. Then I wanted to get them connected to the internet vi their cellphones, usb cable.
Using my nokia 6610 nav with the appropriate vodacom dialup script it connects 100% to the internet (via usb cable).
However, when using their Nokia E51 on virgin mobile I get the results shown below, I used the same script as for vodacom, I just changed the apn from internet to vstat, what else is necessary for the virgin mobile network.
To me it seems that the server sends a termination request instead of giving the dns server addresses.
Thanx
