Vodacom 20GB data promotion uncertainty

like i said in the old thread of this topic, how dissapointed i am and hopefully they will wow us when they do launch the promo]( yeah right!) hard moer.jpg

Vodacom had better apply its mind to coming up with vastly improved stand-up comedy material because this joke just sucks elephant balls.

To save Vodacom the effort, I hereby communicate my plan to switch everything to Cell C.

No need to say anything but point out this whole saga seems to be a construct of this forum. Vodacom never said this is coming so I'm unclear on how something dreamt up by this forum could have been postponed?

This promotion is essentially a MyGig 20 prepaid data bundle where the price has been slashed from the usual R3,199 to R499. This means that the in-bundle per-MB is reduced from the usual 16c per MB to 2.4c per MB.

The data purchased on this promotion will be available until the end of the following month."

According Jannie... He said that vodacom never said anything about this spescial. Now if you read the article it is clear that there would be a special. Just the launch date was to indicated......

RPM ran the article and does not state when this PROMO will start.

Anyways, you gotta to hand it to Vodacom, whoever led RPM on a goose chase must have got a raise.

On a serious note, I reluctantly upgraded to the SIII LTE. What am I gonna do wid 500MB?

Well, in MyBB's defence, Vodacom also didn't say anything regarding this matter when the first article was published. The comment by Jannie is the first and only thing about them not doing this.

Or this is just a case of ''any publicity is good publicity, no matter true or false'' ..
