Vodacom BIS working at full speed

Colleague of mine sent me this speedtest from the Garden Route Mall, George area
Pretty impressive plus we have great 10 Mb/s DSL in the George CBD area.

Best I've seen on my iPad is 26Mb/s in Jhb. Posted a pic here at some point.

How is that possible on the Ipad? I see on 3.5g they may get speeds close to that but on our networks is that even possible on the Ipad 2.5 ? (not gonna call it the ipad 3:D)

It's 42Mb/s capable and we have a few thousand 42Mb/s towers up around the country.

OK, so I'm currently in Stellenbosch, and BIS is cr@p at best its quite irritating actually, and I'm not alone many others have told me the same  I thought Stellenbosch is supposed to be the silicon valley of Africa?

Have your technical guys figured out why my BIS speeds and BIS service = D O G S H I T ? ? ?

Does Vodacom expect me to continue paying them R59,oo each month when they are not providing/delivering a service they're charging me for ? ? ?

Seems something got fixed in Europe (not by VC, BTW) this morning.

Worked ok for most of today, but tried browsing on my device around 9:20pm this evening
and experienced "timed-outs".

A question if I may - I have a Blackberry running on the 8ta network and their BIS service is incredibly good/fast.
Is Vodacom's BIS service so poor simply because of the sheer volume of BIS subscribers on the Vodacom network ? ? ?
Or is it Vodacom simply THROTTLING the BIS users to the MAXIMUM ? ? ?

More to the point, why is it that in some areas (stellenbosch and my house) are rubbish, whilst others like fourways (where I've been in fourways) and Sandton (same story) are excellent? Not to mention when I used my sim in a data modem it was running at 3ish megabits whilst when I'm using BIS 5 min later it's still kuk That rules out congestion in my mind

BIS Blackberry traffic runs via a seperate pipe to the BIS server in UK. Your modem traffic runs via the normal Vodacom network and then breaks out into the internet from there.

Still waiting for your reply/feedback.
Or do you just not give a damn, just like your employer ?
Seems like your ability/willingness to resolve problems and assist valid subscriber complaints is crappier than Vodacom's BIS service ! ! !

I did not realised I owed you feedback, my lord and master. Please forgive me, I am but a mere mortal.

Vodacom is a for profit organisation.
I pay Vodacom good money each month, and don't receive the service I am paying for.
So let's cut the sarcasm please.
Either you can endeavour to help in solving my problem, or you can get sarcastic.
And if you can't assist for whatever reason just say so.
I do not appreciate your prior comment(s).
